Portland accident leads to 2 DUII arrests

A head-on collision on the Interstate 84 ramp that connects to the southbound Interstate 5 entrance left three people injured, one critically, around 3 a.m. on Saturday.
According to police, one of the drivers was apparently heading the wrong way on the ramp and crashed directly into an oncoming vehicle. All three people who were injured in the collision were taken to nearby hospitals to be treated for their injuries, and one person remains in critical condition after the accident.
One of the drivers was given a DUII citation after he was released from the hospital. The 17-year-old driver who is responsible for the collision was charged with reckless driving, assault, and a DUII. He was taken to a juvenile detention center.

Portland woman charged with DUII in high-speed chase

On Monday morning, the Oregon State Police were in a high-speed pursuit of a 30-year-old woman traveling over 100 miles per hour.
The woman was driving at these accelerated speeds for over 20 miles around 3 a.m. near Cottage Grove. Her two young children, ages 9 and 4, were also in the car during the chase. Her tires were punctured after she drove over spike strips, and she was forced to pull over a minute later. Her children were handed over to the Department of Human Services, and the woman was arrested.
She was determined to have drugs in her system, and was charged with DUII-Drugs, reckless driving, and reckless endangerment of two minors.

Portland woman charged with DUII

A 50-year-old Portland woman crashed her motor vehicle late Saturday night near the intersection of Northwest Skyline Boulevard and Fairview Boulevard.
Portland Police said that the woman had consumed wine and pain killers before getting behind the wheel of her Jaguar. After the police arrived on the scene of the accident, the woman allegedly struck a firefighter and hit a police officer in the face.
Before she was put into handcuffs she also tried to punch two other police officers that were at the scene. She has been charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants.
