The alleged drunk driver who crashed into a vehicle and two Portland police cars on Wednesday, April 3, was arraigned in Multnomah County Court the day after his crash.

36-year-old Jeffrey Allen Fuller was arraigned for charges of attempted assault, criminal mischief, attempting to elude, drunken driving, and reckless driving after a car crash incident near Portland Police Bureau’s Central Precinct, in which two patrol cars and another vehicle was struck by Fuller. Court records state that Fuller was tasered by police before being handcuffed because he was being uncooperative with authorities. His blood alcohol content was also twice the legal limit.

Fuller was also convicted in 1994 and served one year and seven months of imprisonment on manslaughter charges after killing Cody Gene Tidwell, 14, and injuring Nikki Lee Simpson in a car crash.

On Monday morning, the Oregon State Police were in a high-speed pursuit of a 30-year-old woman traveling over 100 miles per hour.

The woman was driving at these accelerated speeds for over 20 miles around 3 a.m. near Cottage Grove. Her two young children, ages 9 and 4, were also in the car during the chase. Her tires were punctured after she drove over spike strips, and she was forced to pull over a minute later. Her children were handed over to the Department of Human Services, and the woman was arrested.

She was determined to have drugs in her system, and was charged with DUII-Drugs, reckless driving, and reckless endangerment of two minors.

A 50-year-old Portland woman crashed her motor vehicle late Saturday night near the intersection of Northwest Skyline Boulevard and Fairview Boulevard.

Portland Police said that the woman had consumed wine and pain killers before getting behind the wheel of her Jaguar. After the police arrived on the scene of the accident, the woman allegedly struck a firefighter and hit a police officer in the face.

Before she was put into handcuffs she also tried to punch two other police officers that were at the scene. She has been charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants.
